REDCATT SW15.01

Das Subwoofer-Chassis SW15.01 von Redcatt (intern:15FHWX8-089) überzeugt mit seinem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und der Vielzahl an interessanten Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.

Denn mit einer maximalen linearen Auslenkung von 11mm (22mm peak to peak) und einer Spitzenbelastbarkeit von 1600 Watt eignet es sich einerseits durchaus für PA-Projekte und andererseits bietet die geringe Resonanzfrequenz Möglichkeiten für attraktive, extrem tief abgestimmte Heimkinosysteme. Die Gesamtgüte von knapp 0,5 ermöglicht dabei sowohl geschlossene als auch ventilierte Gehäuse. Im Preisbereich bis 100 Euro sind diese Werte unseres Wissens nach ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Da unser Lager voll und die Nachfrage nach geeigneten Gehäusen groß ist, möchten wir euch einige Gehäuseideen mitgeben.

SideKick_L im Shop

Zwei Kompaktboxen mit Passivmembran. Mächtige Minis. Ich habe spaßeshalber die SideKick_M mal als PC-Lautsprecher links und rechts vom Monitor eingesetzt. Dabei haben sie mich samt Bürostuhl fast an die gegenüberliegende Wand gedrückt, so sehr „föhnt“ das. Das sind zwei klanglich wirklich erwachsene Kompaktboxen, die weit schwierigere Beschallungsaufgaben erledigen können, als es optisch den Anschein hat. Die kleinere SideKick_M scheint mir die universellere Lösung, eine Empfehlung gibt`s definitiv für beide. Holger Barske

Two compact boxes with passive membrane. Powerful Minis. For fun, I used the SideKick _ M times as a PC speaker to the left and right of the monitor. In doing so, they almost pushed me and the office chair against the opposite wall, as much as "groans" that. These are two sonically really adult compact boxes that can do far more difficult sound tasks than it visually seems. The smaller SideKick _ M seems to me the more universal solution, a recommendation is definitely there for both. Holger Barske

Through the wall. Clearly an open book system, the Oberurseler has been doing this for a long time. Level limits? Not within somehow meaningful boundaries. The ensemble is absolutely rock ready for rock music and goes off like the proverbial fire brigade. And this is not an anemic pseudo-bass, what goes down there, that seriously pushes – quite astonishing. The broadband connects to this seamlessly and also commands the very best dynamic manners. The small overall height of the system is not a problem, the speaker still draws consistent proportions and provides a realistic size image. The sound dissolves perfectly, the ratio of image width to – depth can also be adjusted via the angle. Tonally, both converters fit in perfectly, the slightly grouped gait of the five-knler complements the pithy low tone perfectly. Great class and definitely the most exciting thing to screw into a board right now! Holger Barske

Durch die Wand. Klar ein Open-Baffle-System, das machen die Oberurseler schon lang. Pegelgrenzen? Nicht innerhalb irgendwie sinnvoller Grenzen. Das Ensemble ist absolut rockmusiktauglich und geht los wie die sprichwörtliche Feuerwehr. Und das ist kein anämischer Pseudobass, was da unten ankommt, das drückt ernsthaft – ganz erstaunlich. Der Breitbänder schließt daran nahtlos an und befleißigt sich zudem allerbester dynamischer Manieren. Die geringe Gesamthöhe des Systems ist kein Problem, der Lautsprecher zeichnet trotzdem stimmige Proportionen und liefert eine realistische Größenabbildung. Der Klang löst sich bestens, das Verhältnis von Abbildungsbreite zu –tiefe ist ebenfalls über die Einwinkelung einstellbar. Tonal passen beide Wandler bestens aneinander, die leicht ruppige Gangart des Fünfzöllers ergänzt den kernigen Tiefton ganz ausgezeichnet. Große Klasse und definitiv das Spannendste, was man zurzeit in ein Brett schrauben kann! Holger Barske

We've made the classic a little better among the 3 inch broadband! Missing a new aluminium cast basket, thus better behind ventilation, easier to install and visually even nicer. In addition, we have increased the impedance from 6 to 8 ohm. The OTS is 0.5. But let's face it all, the technical qualities could not be improved much. This classic remains an absolute top class for the next 15 years. We are already looking forward to the new competent evaluations of the trade press, as long as you can still read the last conclusions of the trade press. So stay curious, which will surely be followed by exciting projects with the new Omnes Audio BB3.AL.

Wir haben den Klassiker unter den 3 Zoll Breitbändern noch ein wenig besser gemacht! Einen neuen Aluminium-Druckgusskorb verpasst, somit besser hinter lüftet, leichter einzubauen und optisch noch schöner. Zudem haben wir die Impedanz von 6 auf 8 Ohm erhöht. Der OTS liegt bei 0,5. Aber mal ehrlich die technischen Qualitäten konnten nicht viel verbessert werden. Dieser Klassiker bleibt auch für die nächsten 15 Jahre absolute Spitzenklasse. Wir freuen uns schon auf die neuen kompetenten Bewertungen der Fachpresse, solange können Sie noch die letzten Fazits der Fachpresse nachlesen. Also bleiben Sie neugierig, den sicherlich folgen spannende Projekte mit dem neuen Omnes Audio BB3.AL.

Give rubber. We still have two of the new subwoofers with Tang Band drivers and passive membrane: A big one and a very small one, where you don't want to believe that really deep sounds come out. Do them though … The tiny PR11-A – a 1-litre sub shows how extreme the membranes combined with a corresponding driver work! And that's good, very good even: The bass dwarf is already there from 50 Hertz, offers a decent frequency range and can even do a bit of a level: For desk applications, it's just the thing. The PR09-B is the scale enlargement of the dwarf: Here, of course, it is in terms of depth and level at other scales: 35 Hertz at a healthy 85 dB at one watt is there and a resilience that still shows no limits at 95 decibels: For music and even in a The still very compact PR09-B is ideal for a smaller home cinema setup.
